Sharp Sword, Polished Shaft, Quiver

Don’t shrink from the polishing process – this is what reflects God’s Glory.

It is by friction that an arrow’s polished. By this friction our idiosyncrasies are worn away.

A shaft is polished only to be hidden. You don’t see it while it is still in the quiver, or on the shoulder or when flying. Thus the archer gets all the applause – not the arrow. We are the arrow/sword and God is the Archer.
